TEACHER ASSISTANT OF THE YEAR for 2012!!!!!
We are so proud of you! 
Our class read a combined total of 1,485 books for the Norfolk Tides Baseball Club! We even had 5 students who read over 100 books, and 1 student to read over 200 books!
Our class did an amazing job with the "Pasta for Pennies" fundraiser! Our class raised the most money out of all the kindergarten classes, and was one out of six classes that raised over $300 in the entire SCHOOL!
What we are working on this week:
May 21st- May 25th
Word Study: Green: blends
Light Blue: th, wh diagraphs
Dark Blue: blends
Math: place value, addition, function machines, number sense
Poem: "Here is the Sea"
Take Home Book: Is It Alive?
Sight Words: review of ALL sight words
Social Studies: Maps and Globes

Please bring send Library Books back to school by Tuesday- that is our Library day! 
- May 28, 2012- Memorial Day (NO SCHOOL!)
- June 8, 2012- Field Day
- June 14,2012- PROMOTION CELEBRATION at 1:00pm-2:00pm
- June 15, 2012- Last day of class :(
